Vandaag kocht ik schoenen, een aanrader: WORN AGAIN van Terra Plana.
Gemaakt van hergebruikte koffiezakken(jute) T-shirt en jeans resten, autobekleding en hergebruikte zolen. Maar ook belangrijk: goed ontworpen en gemaakt.
'Terra Plana began in Holland in 1989, founded by sculptor Charles Bergman. Later it caught the attention of Lance Clark of the Clark shoe family who invested in the company, but it wasn't until 2001 that Galahad Clark, Lance's son, became Joint Managing Director. With his experience of shoe making and his passion for diverse footwear, Galahad started invigorating the brand, championing 'natural’ eco friendly shoe making.'
